You can set home pages by choosing "Set Home" in the Navigation menu -- type in:

and click on OK to finish.

Don't forget that you can set both a "Global" (default) home page as well as a home page for each window; if a homepage has been defined for the local window, this will be displayed, otherwise you will see the global homepage.

From now on, every time you start your computer on the Net you will automatically go to CARpark UK. And every time you click the "Home" button on your browser, it will bring you back to this personally selected Start page. You have found yourself a short-cut to valuable information on the World-Wide Web, and a fast track to productivity.

And of course, you can change your start page any time you want simply by following the above procedure.

If you don't make any changes the browser  will automatically start your surf from a page that was programmed into your system. From home, this will usually be the web page of your Internet provider. It usually has their corporate logo, some software to download and suggested Web sites. At work, some companies programme their computers to start at the company's home page.

These pages may be fine for most people but there are better start pages available, and CARpark UK works harder for journalists.
